Beacon Innovations prides itself on delivering superior customer service.  We want to be easy to do business with so that Beacon Innovations will be your company of choice in the future for the products and services we provide.

 

Purpose of Policy        

We encourage visitors to this web site to read this Merchant Policy before making any purchases.  The purpose of the policy is to explain Beacon Innovations’

merchant practices with respect to ordering, payment, shipping, and return of goods.   If you are unclear about any of these practices, you should contact Customer Service (see Customer Service section) before making any purchases.

 

How to Order        

Orders can be placed online with our Internet store or by emailing Sales:

We also gladly accept phone, fax, and mail orders.  Customers wanting to place orders in this manner should print a copy of the order form from our web site and

complete the required information.  The order can then be phoned in, faxed, or mailed.  The mailing address is located in the Customer Service section.

Payment Options     

All prices are in U.S. dollars.  Orders are payable by check, money order, and Visa or MasterCard.  Online orders are limited to Visa and MasterCard payment. 

 

Orders placed by phone, fax, or mail are shipped upon receipt of payment unless you are an established customer of Beacon Innovations.

Shipping      

Beacon Innovations ships anywhere within the United States.  At this time, we do not ship to foreign countries. 

 

Packages are shipped by ground transportation unless special arrangements are made at the time of purchase. Call Customer Service to arrange expedited shipping.

 

Some products that are updateable (you periodically receive new inserts) are shipped directly from Ingenix.

 

Expect ground shipments to take up to 10 business days.  An order for multiple items may involve multiple shipments depending upon the availability of each item.

Return Policy           

The products you receive should be free of defects.  In the event you receive a defective product, the product will be replaced with a product of the same item number. Please contact Customer Service within 15 days of the

shipment date to arrange return and replacement of the product. 

 

All purchases may be returned for a refund within 30 calendar days of the shipment date as stated on the packing slip.  All items must be returned in their original, new condition to permit restocking.

 

Opened software is not returnable.  All purchasers, before opening software, should verify that the product is correct and their computers are capable of operating the software. 

 

Products containing both printed books and CD-ROMs cannot be returned if the CD-ROMs are opened.  All purchasers of these packages should verify the

capability of their computers to read a CD-ROM before opening the package. 

 

Refund

If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.  You will receive a check for other forms of payment.  A refund will not be issued until the bank clears the original payment.

 

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and will not be credited.  Additionally, there will be a shipping charge to resend an item unless Beacon Innovations erred with the order or the ordered item was defective. 

 

Return Shipping

When you return an item, follow the instructions printed on the packing slip.  It is important that you enclose a copy of the packing slip received with your order so that we can credit the proper account and purchase.  An explanation of the reason for the return will help us provide better service in the future.  See Customer Service section for return address.

 

You may want to insure your return since we cannot be responsible for damaged, lost, or misdirected returns.

Changes to Merchant Policy 

Beacon Innovations reserves the right to make changes to its Merchant Policy from time to time to respond to customer feedback or the needs of the

business.  Changes will be made to this document and the Last Updated Date underneath the title on the first page will be changed.
